"There's more than one way to skin a cat." -- Some Creepy Dude Who's Not A PETA Member.
There's also more than one way to tackle some basic grooming rituals and routines -- and to that end -- here are some great men's grooming hacks to help you look and feel your best in a pinch (or just any ole' day).
A dulled razor blade can be made a tad sharper when run along the grain of denim. Just push the razor away from you (the dull end -- you're not looking to cut up the jeans) 4-5 times, then rinse and have at that beard.
The reason is simple... if you wash your face and then your hair, you're certain to get some hair grime trickling down across that face. Washing your face after shampooing will eliminate said grime and have your face in prime shape when stepping out of the shower.
Nick yourself while shaving? Instead of reaching for toilet paper, a mildly scented lip balm will do the trick to stop the flow of blood.
Late in the day and skin starting to look a bit oily and greasy? Head to the office kitchen, grab a new coffee filter and rub it across your slick zones. You'll be amazed how much it can soak up. Of course, don't put that filter back in the box or in the coffee pot.
If for some reason you forgot your shaving cream or just ran out, a quality men's hair conditioner will usually do the trick as a suitable substitute. Mixing that conditioner with some water will create a slick surface for those forgetting fellows among us.
