How do I apply Beard Oil?
Beard and mustache oils help moisturize and nourish the skin under the beard, while simultaneously improving the look, feel and health of the beard itself. Using a beard oil is the best way to improve the feel and appearance of a beard, while keeping said beard itch-, flake- and split-end free. Generally, beard and mustache oils are broken down into two main ingredient groups: carrier oils and essential oils. Carrier oils are all-natural oils that deliver moisture, softness & nutrients to beards. Essential oils make up the last bit of most beard oils and are highly potent ingredients with added benefits such as antiseptic properties to fight off flaky skin and acne.
The amount of beard oil applied depends on how much ‘beard-estate’ one has. The longer the beard is, the more product you’ll need to use to penetrate. So, for simple stubble, one drop will do. After a week or two when growth starts picking up, go for two drops. Mid-range beards should use 3-5 drops and long, ZZ-Top beards will need five or more drops.
