Leaves skin greasy and shinny
I have been using this product for a while now. It is not greasy and it dries quickly, leaving my face feeling great. My skin looks rejuvenated and now that it has SPF, I like it even better!
I really like the Kiehl’s facial fuel and have used it everyday for over 10 years. It’s a cooling lotion that makes your face feel great.
I personally feel Kiehl's is one of the best face moisturizers for men's available in the market. Its a bit pricey but a little goes a long way. My face feels fresh and energised in the morning, just as the product claims. This is definitely going to be a permanent fixture to my daily grooming routine.
I've never been one to moisturize since I tend to have an oily face. I always wondered why I would put add moisture to my face if my face was already more oily than the Pacific Ocean. I was so wrong all along.
Usually, I just clean my face with soap and water while in the shower. Naturally, my face was dry and tight afterwards. Never really felt good at all. So I recently decided to take care of my skin more.
I picked up the Kiehl's Facial Fuel Energizing Face Wash so I could cleanse my face with something that was meant for my face. My face was still tight and dry afterwards. This however, is normal with facial cleansers because they strip your face of it's natural oils. After cleansing, I apply a small amount, because you don't need much, of Kiehl's Facial Fuel moisturizer.
It goes on very smooth and easy. It's not oily, smells good, and is absorbed by the skin very well. It leaves my face feeling very soft and hydrated and guess what? I don't have oily skin anymore! It controls the oily extremely well. I used to have a really oily nose. You know what I'm talking about. On both side of your nostrils. Yeah, gone. I have an evenly hydrated skin that isn't oily at all. AMAZING.
There is a Facial Fuel Moisturizer and this one that has SPF 15. As far as I can tell, they are the same thing. Except this one has UV protection. If that is the case then this one is definitely the better buy for me. It IS priced a little high, especially when it says to use this every 2 hours. I'm sure you'd blow through the 4.2 oz pretty quick. However, I only use this in the morning and at night before bed. You could use this one in the morning and then apply the regular non SPF version of the moisturizer at night but that's just personal preference.
SPF 15 isn't really that high at all, but if it was higher, the product would be thicker and wouldn't feel as pleasant. If you're really going to be outside for a long period of time, I would suggest to use an actual sunscreen, but for everyday use this product is great.
Overall I would definitely recommend this product. Like I said, It is pretty expensive but it is worth it to me. I would say that if you're looking for a facial moisturizer, you should at least TRY it. I'm sure you'll love it.
