Burned, yes. And that's a good, good thing. Hang in there; it'll be an intense experience but it's worth it 100%. Excellent product. Follow instructions, keep at it and be a little bit patient. It works; noticeably nicer, smoother skin and smaller pores. TIP: make sure you are using a pre-wash to minimize skin oil before each treatment, as your oils will combat the acid that you need to make deep contact with your skin. Otherwise, the acid and skin oil will end up 'fighting' each other and the glycolic acid will be expended, reducing its effectiveness.

After just one use, I’m seeing pigmentation and freckles on my skin that I haven’t seen in YEARS (a sign that the product is doing its job). The results are similar to a full chenical peel, and I couldn’t be happier. Expensive, but worth it.
