Very moisturizing lip treatment. Rather on the expensive site too. It does leave your lips glossy which is a downside to the products, but if you use it before bed who cares.
My lips get dry very easily, and this is – by far – the best lip moisturizer that I have ever used. Yes, better than Jack Black, which I also bought from this site.
It does have a little more "glossiness" than I'd like, but after you apply it, just use the back of your hand to wipe off the gloss a bit. You'll look normal, and your lips will stay hydrated for hours on end.
Side Benefit: Better Kissing.
As was mentioned, this is the only thing in the Malin+Goetz line that I don't enjoy. All of their other products--especially the Detox mask, scrubs, and the moisturizers--are stellar. This one, however, falls short. There is way too much shine and there is a greasy and grimy feeling from the fatty acid esters. Similarly, the product does not heal dry/chapped lips. It does hydrate well, but if my lips are in tough shape due to the elements, I'd go with a different brand, including one from a gas station.
I had high hopes for the M+G Lip Moisturizer as I like most everything else from their line. Sadly, I was disappointed. First, it is more expensive than any other lip balm I've used, for a lesser amount. The actual product is too shiny for a male. Moisture wise, its okay, nothing special. I prefer my Jack Black Lip Balm any day.
