and then it begins to harden a little a bit.

Not so close?

Baxter makes quality products and I regularly use many of them but this one doesn't meet my expectation. You must use a shaving brush and a pre-shave oil to get a close shave. By itself, it lacks the lubrication properties I have enjoyed with other shaving creams and requires more time and effort to shave in the morning.

Smooth, non-foaming shaving paste.?

I like the cool clean feel of this paste/cream. No razor burn. Very close and smooth feeling with conventional razor.

This is great stuff!

I've tried everything from The Art of Shaving to Lab Series and this stuff is the best! This really works well with my sensitive skin. No irritation and I have no problems using it with my shaving brush. Fantastic stuff!
